With the aid of the spiral and a quick flashback to Iruka-sensei, Naruto completes stage two. Meanwhile, Tsunade’s luck become uncommonly good, which worries her. After being talked into sightseeing by her assistant, Tsunade meets Orochimaru…and she doesn’t look at all pleased.

Kabuto takes out Tsunade’s arm and leg and makes it hard for her to breathe. Can Tsunade win against Kabuto? Will Jiraiya, Shizune and Naruto show up in time to save her?

With Tsunade still paralyzed with fear and Naruto being a low level ninja, it is up to Shizune and Jiraiya to defeat Kabuto and Orochimaru. Orochimaru and Kabuto summon two giant snakes while Jiraiya summons Gamakichi, who does nothing. Naruto tries to help Jiraiya, but he too only summons a small frog that also does nothing. Orochimaru and Kabuto attack and Shizune is easily defeated. Naruto tries to use the Rasengan, but fails. Can he master the technique before Kabuto does anything to Tsunade? How far will he go to master it?

On their way back to Konoha, Naruto, Tsunade, Jiraiya, and Shizune stop at a town with hot springs. Unbeknownst to them, they are being watched by two men looking for Tsunade. While in the hot springs, Naruto’s room gets raided and the necklace Tsunade gave him is missing. Naruto finds a note and follows the directions on it to a hill outside of town where he meets the two men from earlier. They reveal to Naruto that Tsunade owes their family money and they have come to retrieve it from her. When they pretend to kidnap Naruto to get the money, they fail and end up having Naruto steal Tsunade’s bag. Shizune gives chase, but can she stop them? What is so important about Tsunade’s bag?

Turns out the girl is an actress named Yukie who plays Princess Gale and her next movie takes place in the Land of Snow. Yukie hates acting, but is really good at it. When they all arrive in the Land of Snow, the group discovers that Yukie is really the long-lost princess who ran away many years ago. She holds the key to an ancient treasure, and is the target of a group of ninja. When an old enemy from the past comes back to haunt Kakashi, the group must do everything they can to protect Yukie. But for what reasons did she run away to begin with? Will spring ever come to the Land of Snow?

It’s summer and Naruto and gang are doing missions. Their newest mission is to escort the leader of the Hidden Waterfall Village. At the same time, an attack is initiated on the Hidden Waterfall Village, led by a missing-nin, and its former strongest jounin is executed. All of this is an attempt to get the “hero water”, which multiplies your chakra tenfold in exchange for your life. Naruto and the gang are forced to do battle with the enemy in order to rid the Hidden Waterfall Village of its menace.
